Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Parts Manager to oversee parts sales, inventory strategy, and customer support for CNC machine tools across a designated territory. This leadership role is responsible for managing a regional team, driving revenue growth through parts sales, ensuring parts availability, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction through timely service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a regional team of parts specialists and coordinators to support customer needs and drive parts sales.

  • Manage regional inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

  • Collaborate closely with service, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless parts delivery and field service readiness.

  • Analyze regional parts sales trends, customer purchasing patterns, and inventory turnover to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Resolve escalated customer issues related to part delays, availability, or technical compatibility.

  • Implement strategies to improve fill rates, reduce backorders, and increase first-time fix rates.

  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics including revenue targets, service response times, and inventory KPIs.

  • Serve as the regional liaison with central supply chain, engineering, and global parts operations teams.

  • Support the execution of new product launches, system upgrades, or part lifecycle changes within the region.

  • Stay current with technical updates and part revisions to provide informed support and training to the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in parts management, supply chain, or technical support roles-ideally within the CNC machinery or industrial equipment sectors.

  • Strong understanding of CNC machine tool components and service operations.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and manage a distributed team.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness and solution-oriented thinking.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems, order management tools, and Microsoft Excel or BI reporting platforms.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.
