Job Title: Marketing Manager - Midwest Region (Missouri & Nebraska)
Location: Remote (Must be physically present in Missouri and Nebraska markets weekly)
Overview: Fastwyre is looking for a hands-on, driven
Marketing Manager to lead all local marketing efforts across
Missouri and Nebraska. This role requires someone who can quickly take ownership of the region, build strong community relationships, and execute grassroots and digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
This is not a desk job. The ideal candidate must be
in-market every week, actively engaging with local communities, overseeing campaigns, and ensuring our brand has a strong on-the-ground presence.
Key Responsibilities: - Fully own and operate the marketing strategy for Missouri and Nebraska, with a focus on execution and accountability
- Be physically present in each market weekly to manage campaigns, attend events, scout opportunities, and support the local sales team
- Develop and launch localized campaigns, including direct mail, door-to-door outreach, in-person events, partnerships, and sponsorships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, city officials, chambers of commerce, and community organizers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure alignment and responsiveness to each market's needs
- Create content and materials tailored to regional audiences (flyers, social media posts, signage, etc.)
- Track campaign performance, manage budgets, and continuously optimize based on data and feedback
- Represent Fastwyre at local festivals, customer appreciation events, school or civic activities, and community meetings
• Travel weekly to one market (Bellevue or Warrensburg) and occasionally support weekend events when needed
What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in regional or field marketing (telecom, broadband, or local service industries preferred)
- Strong sense of ownership - you take initiative and don't wait for direction
- Ability to travel frequently across Missouri and Nebraska and work independently in the field
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills - you're at home talking to anyone from a mayor to a local business owner
- Experience managing marketing calendars, budgets, and performance tracking
- Proficiency with tools like Canva, Google Suite, social media platforms, and basic CRMs
- Strong project and event coordination skills
- Confidence, creativity, and flexibility-you like to figure things out on the fly
- Comfortable working independently and making things happen on the ground
- Willingness to travel regularly (with mileage reimbursement)
Bonus Points For: - Experience with door-to-door campaigns, community engagement, or brand activations
- Deep knowledge of local communities within Missouri and Nebraska
- Background in small business marketing or startup-style environments
- Experience working with local chambers, sponsorships, or grassroots community engagement
- Prior work in telecom, utilities, or service-based industries
Responsibilities: - Define a region-specific marketing plan that supports the regional residential, commercial and government sales strategy and addresses pipeline needs.
- Strategize, build and execute integrated field campaigns that involve multiple marketing campaigns in collaboration with brand and digital marketing teams.
- Own responsibility for regional competitive knowledge. Perform frequent audits of competitor pricing status and define and execute response strategy in the region.
- Plan and host offline events to create net-new opportunities, accelerate existing sales, and deepen our existing customer relationships.
- Assist regional sales teams as needed, including increasing brand awareness locally/regionally and driving leads for your sales region.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify target accounts and implement account-based marketing strategies to personalize outreach and engagement.
- Manage allocated budget for regional marketing activities, ensuring optimal cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize marketing analytics and reporting tools to measure the success of regional marketing initiatives, providing regular updates to the corporate marketing and leadership teams.
