Job Summary:

The Regional Marketing Director will have significant clinical and skin cancer customer knowledge. They will analyze, interpret, and communicate omnichannel customer data, working with cross-functional partners to develop customer engagement strategies. They will develop actionable plans with local commercial field teams and build trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in skin cancer.

The role involves working closely with internal teams including RBD, SAM, ONE, IRC, KAD, and colleagues in Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access. The candidate must reside in the assigned region, as this is a field-based role.

Responsibilities

The Regional Marketing Director is responsible for:

  • Developing regional omnichannel strategies based on data and analytics.
  • Building trusted relationships with Skin Cancer KOLs.
  • Gathering insights and building brand awareness and advocacy.

Key functions include:

  • Interpreting regional customer/market data to develop marketing initiatives.
  • Creating a 360-degree view of customers for personalized interactions.
  • Guiding teams on actionable insights.
  • Collaborating on regional marketing plans and thought leader development.
  • Supporting speaker programs and promotional activities at relevant congresses.
  • Developing and executing regional marketing programs and educational initiatives.
  • Recruiting KOLs and stakeholders for educational programs and advisory boards.

Qualifications

Success in this role requires collaboration, communication, planning, relationship-building, and tactical execution skills.

  • Minimum 7+ years of oncology experience in pharma/biotech, with a preference for skin cancer.
  • Field leadership experience as a sales or regional manager.
  • Experience in Brand Marketing or Strategy.
  • Ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting customer data.
  • Experience as a Thought Leader Liaison.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Start-up or small company experience is a plus.
