Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual join our team as Regional Infusion Sales Specialist to drive Clinical and Infusion business growth and manage referral relationships. This role focuses forming, growing, and maintaining long-term partnerships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and referral sources to increase patient referral volume and gain market share. Working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams, they will implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to strengthen referral networks and drive measurable growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between referring practices and operations team to ensure physician practices and patients are onboarded properly and have a positive experience at every contact with IVCare Infusion
  • Interact and Call on physicians, nurses, case managers, discharge planners and other healthcare professionals in hospital, offices, and clinic settings to facilitate patient discharge and coordinate patient care.
  • Interact directly with patients in hospitals or clinics when applicable to provide details of our services and answer their questions.
  • Develop and execute tactical plans to grow infusion business. This will include maintenance of existing referral sources, prospecting and cold calling on new potential referral sources.
  • Be held accountable for meeting a defined market infusion revenue budget by servicing and growing both existing business and gaining new market share.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling
  • Increase new patient encounters by identifying potential referral sources, seeking out strategic partnerships, and attending local events within the community
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth within the assigned territory
  • Identify and prospect potential healthcare providers, including medical practices, clinics, hospitals, and specialty healthcare centers
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to drive referrals and increase patient volumes
  • Conduct presentations and educational in-services to healthcare providers, showcasing services and addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Build and maintain relationships with manufacturer/Pharma reps and teams as directed and permitted
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends, provide timely feedback to management, and contribute to the development of competitive sales strategies
  • You must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners and patients.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with all pharmaceutical counterparts and their respective therapeutic classes.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities with prospective customers and develop relationships with them
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current products, services, pricing, and promotions offered by IVCare Infusion
  • Assist in developing company strategies to drive sales growth through effective marketing strategies

Qualifications

  • Experience in any healthcare marketing or sales
  • Strong sales and business development skills
  • Experience in infusion therapy or specialty pharmaceutical sales preferred but not required.
  • Experience in sales or business development in a healthcare setting is highly desirable - some outside sales experience at a minimum is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with healthcare providers and patients

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field
  • Experience in IV infusion therapy business is a plus
