Job Description:
VER Trucking is actively seeking dedicated 26' box truck owner-operators, CDL, non-CDL and over the road company drivers to join our team. As an owner-operator or company driver you will play a crucial role in maintaining our current client base in established markets while also supporting our expansion into new territories. While experience in the industry is preferred, we welcome applicants who exhibit a commitment to professionalism and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
1 Efficiently manage deliveries and routes to meet customer expectations and delivery deadlines.
2 Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
3 Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with customers and accurate handling of shipments.
4 Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned box truck, including regular maintenance and inspections.
5 Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery-related issues.
6 Represent VER Trucking professionally at all times and uphold the company's reputation for reliability and integrity.
7 Track and report delivery performance metrics to management as required.
Qualifications:
• Ownership or access to a 26' box truck in good working condition.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in the transportation or delivery industry is preferred but not required.
