What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers )Drive Strategic Sales Initiatives:- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for managed communities (MCs), including short- and long-term occupancy strategies.
- Identify opportunities to launch new service lines, programs, or renovations and design corresponding sales strategies.
- Create and maintain a sales and marketing scorecard to track progress and drive performance.
Cultivate High-Impact Partnerships:- Establish and nurture relationships with hospital systems, home health, hospice, and post-acute care partners in each market.
- Represent HDG and the communities at public relations events, referral meetings, and marketing initiatives.
Coach & Support Community Sales Teams:- Mentor and train on-site Sales, Marketing, and Admissions staff, reinforcing best practices and sales systems.
- Implement consistent sales processes and toolkits, including referrals, admission workflows, and Medicare/managed care meetings.
Lead Community Onboarding & Transitions:- Oversee the development and execution of marketing plans during new community onboarding, supporting proforma occupancy goals.
- Partner with corporate marketing and communications teams to align messaging and digital presence with community branding.
Monitor Market Trends & Performance:- Evaluate payer mix, referral relationships, and local market dynamics to inform community-specific strategies.
- Track key metrics and adapt strategies to ensure growth in occupancy and resident engagement.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Drive to Build Relationships )Education & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in senior care or senior living operations.
- Experience in launching or supporting new business lines and services.
Strategic & Operational Expertise:- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and managed care/PPO environments.
- Proven ability to analyze sales performance, develop strategy, and adjust plans to meet goals.
Communication & Influence:- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and coach sales professionals at various levels and drive measurable results.
Adaptability & Collaboration:- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at building positive relationships across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Travel Requirement:- Willingness and ability to travel 50-75% of the time to support regional initiatives and community development.
