We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Support Nurse to join a team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality care in the Flint, MI area. This position plays a critical role in supporting skilled nursing facilities by ensuring regulatory compliance, driving quality improvement, and offering clinical guidance and leadership.

Position Summary: The Clinical Support Nurse will provide both on-site and remote support to skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) with significant experience in corporate or regional clinical support roles within the skilled nursing or long-term care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and support to facilities within the Flint area


  • Develop and implement plans of correction in response to state and federal surveys


  • Ensure regulatory compliance and guide facilities in maintaining clinical standards


  • Lead and assist with Informal Dispute Resolutions (IDRs)


  • Conduct audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans


  • Educate and support clinical teams on best practices and quality care initiatives


  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes


Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in regional or corporate clinical support in skilled nursing


  • Proven experience in compliance, survey readiness, and plan of correction development


  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state SNF regulations


  • Experience leading IDRs and managing survey processes


  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills


  • Ability to travel locally as needed to support assigned facilities
