Regional Business Developer
Job Overview
The Regional Business Developer will be responsible for the retention and expansion of existing key accounts in a multi-state territory by leveraging our comprehensive hauling solutions for the professional grade (Pro Grade) trailer market. This will be accomplished by building strong relationships with key accounts, providing insight and solutions to help customers grow their business. Partner with internal cross functional teams to ensure a "best in class" customer experience. The Regional Business Developer will also be responsible for adding and developing new accounts in their assigned region to maximize ATW's distributor footprint in their region.
Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with assigned strategic accounts to ensure exceptional customer experience, ensuring growth of brand positioning within these strategic accounts.
- Service accounts by providing technical assistance, monitoring customer activity and inventory movement, evaluating our position relative to the overall business, and establishing a professional rapport with customers.
- Execute effective in person market reviews by providing industry trends, sales techniques, application of products, and brand value proposition in various markets.
- Use all available information to identify open markets and target the best new dealers to secure new business based on annual new dealer goals.
- Promoting changes in products and value propositions by evaluating results and competitive developments; assisting with determining the cost effectiveness of implementing new products and product price points.
- Train customers on our products, their use and competitive features and functions within the marketplace.
- Leverage CRM & Business Intelligence management tools to assess the effectiveness of sales activities.
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure growth and customer experience goals are achieved.
- Monitor accurate Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales performance to targets by defined book of business.
- Plan and executes well defined travel schedule that is aligned with sales targets and goals.

Education - Experience Required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude for building strong client relationships.
- Preferred outside sales and account management experience in a B2B environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- 10+ years of sales experience
- 5+ years of equipment experience
- Ability to travel 80% with frequent overnight stays.
