Job Summary:

Plans and executes sales and inside sales targets and activities in selling Winergy's gearbox, generator, coupling and repair service portfolio to customers by combining and leveraging specialized product and industry know how in order to increase sales and to achieve defined commercial targets.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plans sales volumes and potential of target customers.
  • Provides information via CRM for forecasts and planning.
  • Analyzes and evaluates markets (both technology and product portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers.
  • Investigates and evaluates specific business opportunities for the customer related product and service portfolio.
  • Prepares customer contacts, quotations and order entry templates.
  • Prepares and negotiates projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management.
  • Builds and maintains a customer focused network.
  • Coordinates and contributes to the realization of assignments, set up respective product developments, projects or services programs for the customer.
  • May act as point of contact in commercial matters.
  • Ensures and works together with plant and subcontractors to achieve Flender margin expectations.
  • Contributes to the development of an After Sales Service that is focused on customers' needs.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • BS/BA degree or advanced degree
  • Min. (5) Years Experience
  • Prior sales experience with wind generators, gearbox units or couplings is highly preferred
  • Experience in the direct OEM or End-user sales and Distribution sales network is a strong plus
  • Team player with ability to perform and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Superior communications skills to communicate with internal and external customers effectively and accurately.
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office tools, Outlook
  • Additional experience in Salesforce and SAP are a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to attend industry events and carry out customer visits
