Region Director Trainee Apply Now ( Save Job Job ID R25 Store-ID 55053 Location New York, New York Additional Locations Orlando, Florida Brand 7-Eleven Position Summary The Region Director Trainee position is a high-impact, accelerated training role designed to prepare individuals for promotion to a Regional Director role within approximately 6u20139 months, depending on experience. This intensive development program will equip the incumbent with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to lead a high-performing retail region, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence across a multi-unit territory. Key Responsibilities Upon successful completion of the training period, the Region Director will be responsible for the following: u2022 Lead a team of Market Leaders, Area Leaders, and Store Leaders in executing daily store operations to deliver a consistent customer experience and maximize sales and profitability. u2022 Provide hands-on coaching and guidance on business strategy execution, systems implementation, and program delivery. u2022 Champion and drive transformation initiatives in alignment with 7-Elevenu2019s Mission, Vision, Strategy Map, and Leadership Principles. u2022 Collaborate with the Zone Vice President and senior leadership to develop, implement, and measure business plans and objectives. u2022 Act as a trusted strategic advisor on operational issues and long-term planning. u2022 Establish and manage annual budgets with oversight from the VP of Operations. u2022 Build cross-functional relationships with the Store Support Center to align and execute key initiatives. u2022 Promote high performance by training, mentoring, and developing field leadership teams and Store Teams. u2022 Build a robust talent pipeline by recognizing and rewarding high performance, while coaching underperformers toward improvement or transition. u2022 Accelerate adoption of digital platforms including delivery, mobile checkout, loyalty programs, touchless pay, and other technology innovations. u2022 Ensure excellence in customer service and brand standards through focus on operational scorecards, including 7Clean, Customer Experience Visit (CEV), and other KPIs. u2022 Drive operational results in cleanliness, quality, safety, and customer experience to build brand loyalty and increase store traffic. Financial & Operational Acumen u2022 Strong understanding of financial performance metrics including controllable earnings, labor management, inventory control, and P&L. u2022 Ability to lead large-scale operations with focus on profitability and efficiency. u2022 Familiarity with retail and/or restaurant operational best practices. Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent leadership experience). u2022 Proven experience leading multi-unit retail or QSR operations. u2022 Background in operational leadership and field execution preferred. u2022 Experience in merchandising, fuels, real estate, or corporate operations a plus. u2022 Familiarity with digital platforms and customer-facing technology initiatives is strongly preferred. u2022 Must be geographically flexible for relocation during and after the training program. u2022 Willingness and ability to travel up to 45% of the time, including travel outside of assigned geography. Pay: $160,000.00 - $220,000.00 Annual If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
