Project Management Job Description Template Job Title: Project Manager Location: SAN DIEGO, CA USA Salary: 5000 - 10000 / MONTH Department: Project Management/Operations Reports To: Senior Project Manager or Director of Project Management Job Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Key Responsibilities: Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Proven experience in project management in the information technology sector, construction, or any other relevant industry. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Experience leading and managing large-scale projects and teams. Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar is highly desirable. Work Environment: This role typically operates in an office environment but may require travel to project sites, client meetings, and other locations as necessary. Physical Requirements: The job may involve sitting for extended periods, attending meetings, and using a computer for several hours.
