Salary: $55,000
Location: 65 N 1150 W, Hurricane Utah 84737
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 am - 5 pm)

Embark's Stabilization and Assessment program is a residential treatment center dedicated to highly acute adolescents. The program specializes in the stabilization and assessment of adolescent boys ages 12 to 17 and their families. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Southern Utah and Zion's National Park, our campus in Hurricane, Utah, provides more than just treatment - we offer a warm, home-like atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Provide all RT groups each week.
Plans and executes company-wide gathering each quarter.
Dictate progress notes in a timely and professional manner.
Complete the RT section of each master treatment plan for each client.
Provide all Embark at Hurricane families with RT sessions during Family Event.
Plan therapeutic assignments for all Embark at Hurricane families during Family Event.
Plan and lead Embark at Hurricane ceremonies.
Plan and assist with transition ceremonies as assigned.
Service projects as assigned.
Assist with shift bonding as needed.
Coordinate activities and events with staff and managers.
Maintain a current employee file (CPR, First Aid, NCI, etc.)
Attend yearly RT training.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience.
Must have your CTRS (Credential for Recreational Therapist)
Knowledge of disorders and other pertinent issues facing the clients and their families
Knowledge of the laws regarding documentation, reporting, and confidentiality.
Knowledge of the values program.
Skill in discernment and therapeutic theory and intervention
Skill in communicating concepts and expectations.
Skill in planning and implementing RT sessions.
Ability to hold appropriate boundaries with clients and parents.
Ability to assess and interpret client behavior.
Ability to use basic computer software and hardware.
Ability to manage budget and other allocated resources.
Able to pass federal background check and drug screening.
21+ years of age.
