This position plays a critical role in supporting legal operations by managing both physical and digital records with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize both physical and electronic files using the firm's standardized systems.
  • Update and manage internal legal databases and client records.
  • Locate and deliver requested files for attorneys and legal support staff.
  • Input accurate data into firm systems and records.
  • Prepare documents for digital storage; assist in scanning and digitization projects.
  • Support secure disposal of outdated records in compliance with firm policies.
  • Handle sensitive legal documents with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with record-related tasks as needed.
  • Professionally manage inquiries from staff and external contacts.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency with office software and document management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Previous experience in a legal office or similar setting preferred
