Rivkin Radler LLP is seeking a full time records clerk/office assistant for its New York City office. They will provide essential assistance across multiple areas of office operations, ensuring the smooth day to day functioning of the office. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible and customer service oriented.

Key responsibilities:

Records Clerk:
  • Duties include maintaining accurate and organized filing systems using File Trail records management system
  • Scanning and copying documents into NetDocs
Office Assistant:
  • Run errands such as picking up and/or dropping off legal documents to external locations such as clients, courts, government facilities as needed in NYC and surrounding areas
  • Provide backup coverage for receptionist daily, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling deliveries
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down conference rooms for meetings, including arranging furniture and preparing catering
  • Ensure refreshments and catering supplies are stocked and replenished
  • Assist with special projects or other general office/administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Paralegal certificate or prior law firm experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Professional, polite and helpful demeanor and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations and adapt to changing priorities and team needs
Hours:

9am-5pm, Monday thru Friday

The annualized salary range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
