Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Records Clerk to assist in the consolidation of office space by sorting and managing HR-related files. The primary responsibilities include sorting through 800 boxes of files, determining which files to shred or save, and organizing the saved files efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the downsizing initiative by consolidating multiple office suites into one.
  • Sort and manage 800 boxes of HR-related files, including workers' compensation and benefits information.
  • Determine which files need to be shredded or saved and organize them accordingly.
  • Collaborate with a team of two under the supervision of the HR manager.
  • Log document statuses using an Excel sheet.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift boxes and climb step ladders to access shelves.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for logging file statuses.
Skills
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and logging files.
