Position: Reconciliation Specialist

Overview of the Reconciliation Specialist role:
• Perform reconciliations for various accounts, including:
- Bank accounts
- Accrued payroll and payables
- Due to/Due from accounts
- Asset accounts
• Review and adjust audit entries to support account cleanup and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Assist with documenting reconciliation processes and providing recommendations for improved efficiency.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of reconciliations and adjustments for audit purposes.
Preferred Qualifications for the Reconciliation Specialist role:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Strong experience in reconciliations, journal entries, and account cleanup processes. Familiarity with financial audits is a plus.
• Business Central experience is a plus.
• Forensic accounting background is ideal.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Functional Skills: Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience
