IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a friendly, engaging, and task- oriented receptionist to work part-time in our Omaha, Nebraska location. This role will greet and direct visitors, vendors, clients, deliveries, applicants, customers, and associates often as the first point of contact. This individual will answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate party. Responsibilities will also include managing the lobby, maintains a professional environment, and receives deliveries. Please note, this position requires working from the office Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:- Greets and directs callers to proper persons, answers inquiries, and provides customer service.
- Assists staff with overflow work, including word processing and data entry.
- Assists with interview scheduling for the recruiting team
- Responsible for onboarding and setting up new employees including equipment, security badges and workspace readiness
- Maintain upkeep of kitchen area
- General office maintenance i.e order/stock office supplies
- Provides support for departmental events and catering as needed
- Process incoming and outcoming mail/packages
- Provides assistance and support to multiple departments as needed.
- Ensures completion of visitor log, sign-in sheets, and security procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Must Have:- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Equivalent is defined as having 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Good oral and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employment purposes.
Prefer to Have:- Associate degree in business or related field
