WDW Financial is a Richardson-based wealth management and tax advisory firm where providing truly personal, high-quality service to our clients is priority number one. We've built a professional, supportive team environment and are looking for a reliable and friendly individual to step into a vital role supporting both our clients and our staff day-to-day.

We need someone organized and welcoming to be the face of our Richardson office, handling both receptionist duties and keeping the office running smoothly. You'll be the first person clients meet and talk to, so making a great first impression is essential. Your responsibilities will cover a mix of things, including:

  • Being the Welcoming Face: Greeting clients and visitors warmly when they arrive.
  • Handling Communications: Answering phones professionally, directing calls, taking clear messages, managing the main email inbox, and handling mail (including preparing items to be sent out).
  • Client Support: Helping keep schedules on track by confirming client appointments, scanning tax documents or other papers accurately, keeping basic client contact info up-to-date in our system, and managing the sending/receiving of client forms.
  • Keeping the Office Sharp: Making sure the front lobby always looks professional and welcoming, and tidying up conference rooms after meetings.
  • Managing Supplies: Keeping the office kitchen stocked with snacks and drinks, and ordering general office supplies so we always have what we need.
  • Vendor Coordination: Acting as the main contact for building services, IT help, cleaning crews, and other outside vendors.
  • Team Support: Pitching in to help advisors and staff with administrative tasks like copying, filing, or basic data entry when needed.
  • Confidentiality: Handling sensitive client and firm information with care and discretion is a must.

What We're Looking For:

  • Good Communication Skills: You can chat professionally on the phone and write clear emails.
  • Organization: You're naturally organized and pay attention to the details.
  • Professionalism: You present yourself well and have a positive, professional attitude.
  • Reliability: You're punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
  • Helpful Attitude: You have a genuine desire to help clients and support the team; a "can-do" spirit goes a long way.
  • Tech Comfort: You're comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and can learn new systems for things like updating client info.
  • Multitasking Skills: You can handle juggling different tasks throughout the day.
  • Experience? Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but it's not required. If you're motivated, professional, and eager to learn, we're happy to train you.

The Perks - What WDW Financial Offers:

  • Hybrid Flexibility: Occasional hybrid work opportunities for days when you need to be at home.
  • Top-Notch Health Insurance: We cover 100% of your premium for our Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.
  • Generous Retirement: We contribute 10% of your salary to your 401(k), regardless of what you put in.
  • Time Off: You'll get two weeks of paid time off (PTO) plus 10 paid holidays each year. That goes to 3 weeks after two years, and 4 weeks after ten years.
  • Growth Opportunities: We invest in our team with paid training and development, plus there's potential to grow into our client services team down the line.
  • Great Environment: Join a supportive, professional team right here in Richardson.
