Overview: As the Receptionist, you'll be the friendly face and welcoming voice of our office-setting the tone for every visitor and caller's experience. In this dynamic role, you'll keep the front desk running smoothly while supporting the team with essential administrative tasks. What Your Role Will Do: - Serve as the first point of contact by warmly greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff, and escorting guests to designated offices or meeting rooms.
- Receive, date-stamp, and distribute all incoming mail to the appropriate individuals or departments. Prepare and process outgoing mail, including applying postage and arranging for pickup. Ensure all checks are promptly handed over to administrative assistants for processing.
- Accurately log all incoming checks and cash into the designated logbook in a timely and secure manner.
- Monitor and maintain copier functionality by ensuring paper is stocked and available at each machine. Assist with copy requests as needed.
- Track office supply levels, maintain organization of the supply closet, and advise when items need to be reordered.
- Manage the office phone system, including basic troubleshooting, setting up phones and voicemail for new staff, and addressing any technical issues.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the administrative team, including clerical tasks and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Work Location: Westbury, NY (Nassau County)
Work Hours/Schedule: Part-time, Monday - Friday, 10 am to 2 pm.
Pay: $20.00/hr.
