Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support our managers, employees, and customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet visitors and provide general support
- Handle daily email correspondence and draft letters, memos, and forms
- Maintain and update filing systems and office procedures
- Enter and track sample orders in our entry system
- Assist with customer coordination and maintain contact lists
- Package and ship samples via UPS
- Support internal teams and liaise with senior leadership and executive assistants
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, or similar role
- Familiarity with office management systems and standard office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma required; additional certification in Office Administration or Secretarial Studies is a plus
- Prior experience in the construction, fabrication, or manufacturing industry is a plus but not required
