Do you enjoy making a positive impact on people's day? As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, setting the tone for a welcoming and professional experience.

The Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP) consisting of Flatiron, Dragados USA and VINCI has been selected to construct the $3.3BN Design Build project -the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

The project scope across a 9 mile section of the I-64 will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45' diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America

What you will be doing
    Receives incoming telephone calls, messages, mail and packages to office and directs to appropriate person in a courteous and customer service oriented manner.
  • Greets and assists all visitors. Assists office staff by alerting arrival or directing visitors to appropriate meeting room.
  • Assists with service requests and maintenance on office communication technology, including office fax machine, printers, postage metering and specialty shipping vendor portals.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties, including making copies, typing memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as directed.
  • Collects, sorts, date stamps and distributes mail to office personnel and shipping mail to other location staff as needed.
  • Maintains company and office personnel, seating and event calendar documents.
  • Maintains conference room cleanliness and preparedness. Monitors conference room bookings and assists office staff reserving and coordinating meetings and catering.
  • Orders office supplies, stationery and staff business cards, as directed by District Office Manager.
What we are looking for
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer and MS Office Suite required.
  • Friendly disposition and customer service attitude required.
