We're looking for an enthusiastic, professional receptionist to join our team. You'll play a crucial role as the face and first point of contact for our organization. Other responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, scheduling conference rooms, ordering supplies, managing mail and deliveries, and other assignments as needed to ensure efficient business operations. • Greets clients, guests, attorneys, vendors, and employees, creating a positive and professional first impression on behalf of the firm
• Answers incoming calls, screens the caller, and routes the call accordingly
• Records incoming calls in the appropriate software; follows directions and script directing information to be recorded
• Attends to clients' needs, such as making them comfortable, offering a beverage, and providing a welcoming environment
• Is aware of the daily calendar, who is in/out of the office, and is aware of scheduled appointments
• Maintains cleanliness of the reception area, conference rooms, and supply areas
• Monitors office supplies and orders as needed
• Maintains logs of incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Receives mail, deliveries, and packages
• Disposes of junk mail
• Assists other staff as requested
• Perform other general office duties as requested Qualifications:
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
• At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferred
• Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations Compensation: $20 hourly
