Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our dealership. This position plays a vital role in delivering a warm, welcoming experience to all customers and guests while assisting with various administrative duties to support daily operations.
As a
Receptionist at
CMA's Toyota of Martinsburg, you will:
- Greet all visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Provide accurate information and assistance to customers and team members
- Schedule appointments and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby area
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and handling mail
- Support dealership staff with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements
Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and a team-first mindset
Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Physical Demands - Sitting for periods while handling contracts, completing paperwork, or working on a computer.
- Frequently walking throughout the dealership and lot to show vehicles, check inventory, or meet customers.
- Standing for extended periods while assisting customers or participating in sales events.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying promotional materials, paperwork, or vehicle accessories, usually under 20-30 pounds.
- Bending, reaching, or stooping to retrieve items or inspect vehicles (e.g., checking tires or interior).
- Working outdoors while showing vehicles on the lot, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, or snow.
Work Environment - Working in a bright, clean, and professional showroom where vehicles are displayed.
- Spending time outside showing vehicles, walking the lot with customers, and moving inventory.
- Joining customers on test drives, which may involve driving on nearby roads or highways.
- Schedule can vary based on dealership hours and sales events. Schedule often includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for car shopping.
- Typical dealership sounds include conversations, phones ringing, and occasional vehicle noise from test drives or nearby service departments.
Salary Description
$13-$15/hour
