Job Description
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the Lobby Receptionist will perform a variety of duties including greeting visitors, scheduling meetings, checking employee badges for admittance to the building, and approving property passes. Additional responsibilities may include special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Register all vendors, visitors, and service personnel through the Main Office or Human Resource/Communications/Law Building lobby. Issue passes and safety glasses, and provide guidelines concerning cameras, recording devices, in-plant driving, and company bus service.
- Contact and communicate with appropriate Corporate associates.
- Direct approved service personnel to appropriate areas of the company and notify Security Gate personnel when in-plant driving is required.
- Direct visitors to requested personnel within approved company guidelines.
- Record, control, and follow-up on all visitors and vendors allowed into plant areas. Ensure they return to the lobby and account for all passes issued each day.
- Serve as an information center for visitors and employees regarding security procedures, access control, parking, and other related security practices. Report any actual or potential problems to a supervisor.
- Schedule use of the third-floor conference room in the Main Office Building and other conference rooms as assigned or directed.
- Perform highly confidential work such as typing incident reports and maintaining a Confidential Employee folder.
- Prepare and compile reports on medical parking, generator employee drive-ins, distribution center parking, and medical transportation.
- Maintain weekly vendor report of all departments visited and prepare a monthly report of lobby duties performed.
- Type pre-registered visitor passes upon request.
- Conduct filing, photocopying, and distribution of materials and reports as needed.

- 2+ years of administrative/front desk experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow processes and procedures, and document accordingly

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
