Staffmark is looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team in Gardena, CA. As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you'll play a key role in providing excellent customer service and offering essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18/hr
1st Shift Availability
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, greeting them in a professional and courteous manner. You will efficiently answer, screen, and direct incoming calls, manage appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings, and maintain a clean and organized reception area. Additionally, you will handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation, and provide general information to visitors while directing them to the appropriate department or personnel. You will also monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, ensure compliance with security procedures, and perform any other clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
