Job Description
Syracuse Hearing Solutions, is a trusted audiology practice dedicated to providing patient-centered hearing healthcare in the greater Syracuse area. Their Fayetteville office is a busy and fast-paced environment, known for delivering care with compassion, professionalism, and a personal touch.

Position Overview

The practice is seeking a full-time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients-both in person and over the phone. This is a key role focused on phone coverage, appointment flow, and ensuring a seamless front desk experience.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly, clear, and confident phone presence, strong communication skills, and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls with a cheerful, professional tone
  • Clearly communicate with patients, providers, other offices, and community vendors
  • Provide accurate message-taking and handoffs to the appropriate staff
  • Assist patients with phone troubleshooting using provided guides
  • Efficiently gather patient information and help manage appointment flow
  • Support front office operations including check-in, check-out, repairs, faxes, and mail
  • Follow directions, collaborate with the team, and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment
Requirements
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday
  • Clear, upbeat speaking voice and strong phone etiquette
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to take accurate notes and relay messages
  • Comfortable with multitasking and staying calm under pressure
  • Previous front desk or medical office experience is a plus
  • Team player with a helpful, can-do mentality
