OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join the team of one of our Columbus clients. This is a part time position with work hours from 8am-130pm, Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be committed to providing outstanding support and customer service as well as possessing strong clerical skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities.Duties- Provide general administrative support for the Association President- Front Desk reception for phones and walk-ins- Inventory, order and stock office and kitchen supplies. Keep office equipment and kitchen fully supplied (i.e. paper in copier, drinks in refrigerator, etc.)- Maintain schedule for meeting rooms- Setting up meeting rooms, distribution materials, ordering food, making beverages available and room clean-up- Distribute mail- Maintain books containing Board of Directors and Executive Committee meeting minutes- Monitor postage machine for re-supply. Apply postage to envelopes and packages and send out-going mail. Assemble mailings being sent via USPS. Arrange for mail pick-ups as necessary- Assist administrative staff during times of heavy workload as requested commensurate with skills and abilities- Maintain list of deceased members for the annual Memorial Resolution- Update member database resulting from returned magazines, e-mails and other correspondence- Work at offsite meetings (i.e. Winter Conference, Conaway Conference, Estimating Competition)- Purchase, route and send get-well and sympathy cards and flowers- Data input into the Association's Association Management System- Process event registration requests as the are received via phone and email- Light janitorial duties (trash removal, spot vacuuming, spill clean-up, dishwasher, etc.)Job Requirements- A demonstrated operating knowledge of computers including an intermediate level ability with Word, Outlook, and Excel- Ability to add data into a structured Association Management System platform- Great communication skills with a friendly, outgoing personality in-person and over the telephone- Ability to work cooperatively with a team of individuals to accomplish tasks- Willingness to perform the tasks necessary to keep the office functioning well- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyJoin our team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant where your contributions will be valued, and your professional growth will be supported
