We are seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative tasks and financial responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with a friendly and professional tone.
- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist with general office tasks, including file management, permit processing, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supplies.
Accounts Receivable Duties:
- Process incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and other electronic transactions.
- Record and deposit checks accurately and promptly.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with account reconciliation.
- Support the finance team with basic accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or accounts receivable role preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
