Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities:

1. Receive product, enter receiving date, issue product to floor or load on trucks for outside processing.
2. Work with supervisor and Monroe facility management to ensure production goals are met.
3. Comply with all Monroe policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
4. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
5. Receive product in computer to maintain proper inventory levels.
6. Check purchase order against received goods for correct quantity and part number.
7. If freight received in good order, print & apply barcode with quantity, date, location & part number to container.
8. Stock received freight in correct warehouse location using forklift.
9. Pull orders and requisitions, verify in quantities by either scale wright or physical count.
10. Enter stock transfers into computer, process paperwork and deliver to floor or department.
11. Load product on trucks for shipping by hand, pallet jack or forklift as needed.
12. Stock and issue out material to departments as requisitioned to build product per mfg. orders.
13. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or facility management.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to read, follow directions, and good communication skills.
2. Computer skills are a must. Ability to search system for part numbers, enter transfers and print labels.
3. Forklift experience is a must.
4. Ability to work with others in a team environment.
5. Continuous walking or standing on concrete floors.
6. Ability to lift a maximum of 65 lbs. on occasion.
7. Requires frequent climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
8. Work is performed primarily in-doors.

Salary Description

$17.00/hr plus $2 Attendance Bonus
