Job Title: Forklift Operator / General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator / General Laborer. The candidate will start with a brief training period in the Shipping department to understand the day-to-day operations before transitioning to their respective position. This role requires a high level of teamwork, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
Responsibilities - Pull material to place on the saw
- Work well in a team environment
- Read tape measures accurately
- Understand and perform simple math calculations
- Lift 50 lbs constantly
- Train and become certified on a forklift
- Maintain a high level of work ethic

Work Environment The work environment is very clean and well-lit. You will be part of the team from the very first day in a family-first environment with an open-door policy with the Plant Manager. Expect to be on your feet for 8 hours a day, performing repetitive lifting tasks. The busiest time is from 2:00 to 5:30 PM when all shipments leave the facility. The shifts available for the first shift are 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, and 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
