Valley Craft Industries, Inc. has been designing, developing and manufacturing professional grade material handling and storage solutions in Minnesota since 1953. Our products are sold world-wide while our office locations are in Lake City and Bloomington, MN.

We are Looking For: A driven individual to split work time between Shipping/Receiving (process daily shipment of materials and products) and Cabinet Assembly (facilitate the production of company products and custom orders).

What You'll Do: Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor, you will ship and receive daily shipments and assemble and package daily orders.

What We Need From You

Ability to follow written and verbal direction

Ability to keep pace with production expectations

Ability to use Netsuites and schedule trucks with minor assistance

Ability to operate material handling equipment including a forklift (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)

Ability to work independently or with a team

High attention to detail

Ability to inspect product for quality assurance and identify any errors

Ability to record the accuracy of incoming shipments

Ability to document any damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation with minor assistance

Ability to store incoming material and supplies in correct warehouse

Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education/Experience Requirements

0 - 3 years of related experience preferred

Forklift Experience required

Knowledge of metalworking industry, equipment, and processes useful Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time

Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures

Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
