BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk requires the team member to receive parts into stock so they can be shipped out to our customers.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receiving parts - containers, skids, boxes
  • Unloading Trucks - bulk incoming stock, small packaging (UPS/FedEx), containers
  • Keep track of freight bills until receipt
  • Putting stock away as necessary
  • Bring samples/personal packages to individuals in other departments.
  • Keeping up with invalid tags/kitting overflow
  • Receiving kits, process orders
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
  • Finding lost parts
  • Helping with shipping
  • Assisting with Order-filling in the Keg & Deep Areas
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERINCE:

High school diploma or the equivalent is required.

SKILLS: Part Identification & Nomenclature required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Good detail orientation required.

Effective time management skills required.

Some supervisory skills preferred.

Basic Math skills required

Compensation starting at $20/hour dependent on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
