Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control & Receiving Coordinator
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Hours : 6am -2pm
Position Overview:
Were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive team member to join our operations as a Quality Control & Receiving Coordinator. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of incoming materials and serving as a liaison between our receiving yard and customer service office. There is strong growth potential for the right candidate, with opportunities to take on responsibilities in customer service as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Confirm and verify incoming shipments and materials against purchase orders and receipts.
Conduct quality control checks on all received items to ensure compliance with company standards.
Document and report discrepancies or damaged materials.
Coordinate with the receiving yard team to ensure smooth material handling and documentation.
Act as the communication bridge between the receiving team and customer service office.
Assist in resolving order discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
Maintain organized records of incoming materials and quality inspections.
Support customer service tasks as needed, including order tracking, updates, and client communication.
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to receiving and quality control processes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in quality control, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory or order management systems a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Willingness to grow into a hybrid role involving both operations and customer service.
Preferred Skills:
Customer service experience
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
