Shift: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Pay rate: 17.00 an hour
Job description:Unloading shipments: Receiving and unloading deliveries from trucks, using forklifts or hand trucks when necessary.
Verifying accuracy: Checking incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure the correct quantity and items are received.
Inspecting goods: Examining items for damage or defects upon arrival.
Inventory updates: Recording received items in the inventory management system.
Reporting discrepancies: Identifying and reporting any discrepancies between shipment details and purchase orders.
Packaging returns: Preparing damaged or incorrect items for return to vendors.
Stock organization: Properly storing received items in designated warehouse locations.
