Summary of Position

Kinsley is seeking a motivated and dependableRebar Shop Fabricatorto join our growing team in our Materials Division in our York, PA rebar fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and feel at ease working with machinery.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes.
  • Capable of working on elevated trailers to unload materials and apply proper rigging techniques as necessary.
  • Assist workstations with material handling.
  • Operate shearing and bending equipment.
  • Assemble and load fabricated materials onto elevated trailers.
  • Maintain work areas clean and neat.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as required.
Experience & Education
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills including counting and measuring.
  • Capability to engage in physical activities such as bending and lifting.
  • Adaptability to work in a shop environment, even under unfavorable conditions such as noise, dust, heat, or cold.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn OSHA safety regulations.
  • Previous experience in a shop environment is strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as necessary.
