Position Overview
Title Company is seeking a Title Agent/Escrow Officer in our Knoxville, TN office. You will manage the title and escrow process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction. You'll work closely with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, builders, underwriters, and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions. The ideal candidate with be warm, energetic, friendly, self-motivated, resourceful, and highly organized. You must be detail oriented, possess critical thinking and problem solving skills and work independently or as a team. Finally, you must have the ability to prioritize and multitask. This a full-time position offering health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, and access to 401K.

Key Responsibilities -
  • Prepare, review, and analyze title commitments, policies, and related documents.
  • Clear title issues and resolve discrepancies to meet closing deadlines.
  • Oversee the escrow process, including preparation of settlement statements and disbursement of funds.
  • Manage the entire real estate closing/escrow process, including compliance with real estate contracts, lender instructions, title requirements, closing/escrow requirements, company requirements and other written instructions.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to coordinate and execute successful closings.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Marketing and business development
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Title Agent or Escrow Officer.
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow processes, and real estate transactions.
  • Proficiency with Qualia is ideal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • TN Notary Public Certification
