Responsibilities of the Real Estate Tax Accountant: - Prepare tax returns
- Tax projections
- Prepare financial statements
- Calculate section 199A deductions
- Allocation of multi-state federal tax returns
- Estate taxes & estate income taxes
- Analyze the General Ledger (GL)
Qualifications of the Real Estate Tax Accountant: - Active CPA
- 10 - 15 years of commercial real estate industry experience
- Strong knowledge of federal & state taxes
- Yardi experience is a plus.+
- Knowledge of HUD financial audits is a plus.+
