I'm currently working with a global organisation who are looking to recruit a Real Estate Paralegal. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law and be proficient in handling various aspects of real estate transactions.
This is a full-time, in-office position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Conduct title searches and review title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports.
- Prepare and review real estate documents such as deeds, leases, purchase agreements, and closing statements.
- Coordinate and manage closings, ensuring all necessary documents are executed and funds are properly disbursed.
- Maintain and organize files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions to provide updates and gather necessary information.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law and transaction processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
