About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to play a key role in supporting our commercial real estate operations. This position requires managing and processing real estate transactions, including reviewing titles and surveys, preparing closing documents, and drafting leases. The role is 100% on-site and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of real estate projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive closing checklists, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently.
  • Draft leases in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate on the preparation and execution of loan transactions.
  • Support the acquisition and disposition of real estate properties by drafting and reviewing related documentation.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of contracts to ensure legal and financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and deliver precise closing instruction letters to all parties involved in the transaction.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Research and resolve legal or title-related issues that arise during real estate transactions.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records for all real estate projects.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support for real estate operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
  • Paralegal Certificate, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document preparation for commercial real estate transactions.
  • Familiarity with real estate contract law, title review, and closing processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also thriving independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant legal and document management software.
