Title: Paralegal - Transactional Real Estate
Location: Kendall Park, NJ
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)
A mid-size law firm in central New Jersey is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position with office hours from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct title and survey reviews
- Assist with commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and financing
- Support leasing transactions
- Handle various transactions such as hotel acquisitions, liquor license transfers, membership interest transfers, and planning board applications
- Review, negotiate, and draft commercial real estate and general business agreements (e.g., title objection letters, leases, loan documents, MITAs)
Qualifications:
- College degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
- Strong understanding of title and survey reviews, purchases, sales, financings, and leasing
