Job Description for Real Estate Paralegal

Legal Assistant is responsible for assisting our General Counsel with an emphasis on document preparation and related duties.


Job Duties:

  • Review and understand title commitments, land purchase agreements, leases, and other documents involved in real estate transactions.
  • Review and understand corporate records, LLC agreements, organization documents, & corporate bylaws.
  • Prepare drafts of legal documents for real estate transactions
  • Assist with research for and preparation of course materials for classes.
  • Complete other job-related duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills We Require:

  • Attention to detail
  • Degree or paralegal certification preferred.
  • Three (3) years of title insurance, banking, or mortgage industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to exceed in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze information.
