About the role

We are looking for a forward thinking corporate real estate manager with a background in commercial real estate, facilities, and execution to join our growing organization. This individual will help lead our real estate portfolio for our distributed workforce and in the office model for Zillow Cloud HQ. We are re-imagining how and why people come to work.

You will report to the Director of Real Estate, Workplace Operations, and Business Continuity, partnering closely with our Workplace Experience & Gatherings (WE&G), Core Tech, Financial Planning, and Analysis (FP&A), and Legal teams. This partnership makes for a highly collaborative and inclusive environment, while working with fun people. You Will Get To:
  • Assist the Director in leading the day-to-day administration and big picture strategy of our corporate real estate portfolio, including all directly leased space.
  • Own and run the international co-working portfolio, leading all strategic planning and working with compliance and ZG businesses to determine scope and need, coordinating with brokers and co-working companies, and working with internal teams to equip the spaces for use.
  • Assist with compliance audits of our coworking spaces.
  • Lead the real estate budgets and work with internal teams to complete monthly reporting, re-forecasting, projections, variance analysis, and monthly metric reviews.
  • Lead all real estate leasing functions including LOIs, lease negotiation and processing, lease documentation, day-to-day administration, transaction management, renewals, expansions, terminations, and relocations.
  • Assist in real estate projects as needed, with construction, decommissioning, vendor management, etc.
  • Assist in other org projects as assigned.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $97,400.00 - $155,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a multidimensional role, preferably in a corporate business environment.
  • Background in corporate and/or commercial real estate (particularly in office properties), leasing and coworking.
  • Strong finance, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite systems and programs including Excel and PowerPoint.
