The Real Estate Loan Processor is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include: - Pre-qualifying borrowers and establishing loan application eligibility. Ensuring file setup is within guidelines. Supporting the Loan Representative with approvals, ordering appraisals, and structuring loans.
- Analyzing income documentation and understanding various income sources and program guidelines.
- Requesting necessary documents from borrowers and reviewing title reports and verifications. Ordering and reviewing appraisals, title reports, credit reports, and escrow instructions.
- Ensuring full compliance with MDIA, CFPB, and TRID regulations. Reviewing findings in PredProtect or similar systems.
- Checking and satisfying loan conditions.
- Establishing close-of-escrow deadlines on refinance transactions and ensuring loans close within lock/commitment periods.
- Maintaining communication with members, title and escrow companies, and appraisers. Assisting borrowers throughout the loan process and explaining program options. Communicating loan denials when necessary.
Specific qualifications for the position include: - A minimum of two years of mortgage loan file processing or equivalent experience, with basic knowledge of PMI rules and industry regulations.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent is required. Two years of related experience may substitute for every one year of education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Client Mortgage Cadence Symphony Portal, DU, AllRegs, Imagility, Symitar, and PMI systems is a plus.
Pay Rate Range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
