The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate and corporate transactions and be comfortable handling legal and administrative tasks with a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Prepare, review, and edit legal documents such as closing binders, purchase agreements, loan documents, and title commitments.
- Conduct UCC searches, entity formations, and due diligence reviews.
- Manage transactional deadlines, ensuring all necessary filings and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and other parties involved in real estate closings.
- Assist with billing, timekeeping, calendar management, and attorney scheduling.
- Handle client intake, file organization, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant supporting with real estate and corporate transactions, preferably in a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, title work, and closing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with time entry and billing software.
