Our client's Real Estate Finance Group is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join their team in Washington, D.C. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to contribute to a collaborative and high-performing legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate finance, particularly in loan transactions, and a drive to work on sophisticated matters in a fast-paced setting.


Responsibilities:


  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial loan documents.
  • Manage legal due diligence for various commercial real estate transactions.
  • Lead and coordinate closings for secured loan deals involving a variety of property types.
  • Oversee and support junior associates and paralegals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of four years of experience in commercial loan transactions.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and good standing with the Bar in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and prioritise multiple deadlines.
  • Leadership experience, including training and managing junior legal staff.
