Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As a Real Estate Finance Associate, you will:
1. Facilitate and manage all aspects of real estate finance transactions, including loan document drafting, title review, survey review, and closing procedures.
2. Provide legal counsel on a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
3. Conduct comprehensive real estate due diligence, including zoning review, condominium review, and environmental assessments.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to structure, negotiate, and close real estate finance deals.
5. Manage relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD financing entities.
6. Provide expert advice on commercial lending practices and regulatory compliance.
7. Assist with the development and implementation of legal strategies for affordable housing and multifamily housing projects.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Real Estate Finance Associate or Real Estate Counsel.
4. Proficient knowledge of commercial real estate, real estate finance, and real estate transactions.
5. Experience with CRE finance, commercial lending, title review, survey review, and loan document drafting.
6. Demonstrated experience in real estate due diligence, including zoning review and condominium review.
7. Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, affordable housing, multifamily housing, and HUD financing.
8. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
