Introduction to the team Our Real Estate Outsourced Finance & Accounting consulting group at Moss Adams helps businesses to operate more effectively, make better decisions and spend less time on accounting and financial operations. The Consulting Staff role is instrumental in our ability to deliver on our promise. We are looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for learning and using technology to provide outsourced finance & accounting services to our dynamic client base. Our consulting staff are responsible for all aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, employee benefit, and general ledger accounting. Consulting staff also ensure that client needs are being met while identifying any issues, areas for process improvement, and adhering to all deadlines. Responsibilities: Processing of AP invoices including review of monthly A/P ledger for missing routine bills Downloading and coding of credit card transactions Processing of bank statements and bank reconciliations In-house payroll processing, payroll tax deposits, payroll reports Assist with all bookkeeping functions Assist with client communication to ensure client expectations are being met Qualifications: Minimum of Associates degree in accounting or related field required preferred bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of one year bookkeeping and accounting experience required; experience in real estate and/or property management strongly preferred Capabilities reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial and legal documents with an ability to respond to common inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, or the business community Strong technology skill using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and QuickBooks Experience working in a paperless environment strong preferred Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Moss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
