Donahue Fitzgerald, LLP is seeking an associate attorney for our Real Estate practice in our Oakland office. The position will provide hands-on support for highly challenging and interesting legal assignments, supporting multiple attorneys.
The annual minimum billable hours requirement is 1610, and employees can earn a bonus for hours worked in excess of the minimum.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 3+ years of real estate transactional experience with an emphasis on leasing
- Ability to negotiate and document leasing transactions for both landlord and tenant
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Must be a self-starter with superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
The ideal candidate will also have strong academic credentials from a top law school. The candidate must be admitted and a member in good standing of the California Bar.

The salary range for this position applies to California. It reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $140,000-$190,000.
