Job Title: Associate - Real Estate Private Equity

Location: Plano, TX

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in executing real estate investments while leveraging strong analytical and financial modeling skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate markets, private equity strategies, and investment analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate real estate investments, including acquisitions, developments, and joint ventures.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare high-quality investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deal Evaluation: Analyze potential real estate investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and market research.
  • Deal Execution: Lead transaction negotiations and closings, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investment Strategy: Assist in developing investment theses, portfolio strategies, and market assessments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior management, investors, lenders, and operating partners to drive deal success.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in real estate, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for financial analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Analytical Skills: Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital structures.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong grasp of real estate market dynamics, investment strategies, and risk assessment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple deals and analyze large datasets with precision.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with investors and internal teams.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced investment environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in underwriting real estate transactions.
  • Experience in preparing investment memorandums.
  • Knowledge of real estate debt and equity structures.
  • Prior exposure to deal execution and closing processes.
