We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Managing Attorney - Criminal Defense to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned legal professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will lead our criminal defense team, overseeing all aspects of case management, trial strategy, and client relations. This role demands an individual who is not only well-versed in the intricacies of criminal law but also possesses exceptional leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of dedicated attorneys.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the preparation and presentation of criminal defense cases, ensuring the highest standard of legal representation for our clients.
2. Develop and implement effective trial strategies, leveraging your deep understanding of criminal law and procedure.
3. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case preparation and trial strategy.
4. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding of case progress and outcomes.
5. Collaborate with other legal professionals to stay abreast of changes in criminal law and adapt strategies as necessary.
6. Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of criminal law and best practices in legal representation.
7. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations, maintaining the highest ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years' experience in criminal defense law, with a proven track record of success in trial.
4. Demonstrated experience in managing a team of attorneys, with strong leadership and mentorship skills.
5. Exceptional knowledge of criminal law and court procedures.
6. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Strong commitment to client advocacy and the pursuit of justice.
